Effective as of 0001 Hours on 5 January 2024, {{gns|Covington|CLAC-01|hcn}} is to immediately stand down all present assignments and/or missions and is subsequently ordered to return to Grayson for decommissioning and crew transfer.<br />
<br />
Upon arrival, you and your crew shall make {{gns|Covington|CLAC-01|hcn}} ready in all respects for decommissioning: strike the colors and secure the watch. You are further ordered to relinquish command of {{gns|Covington|CLAC-01|hcn}} to the [[Bureau of Ships]] in the person of [[CDR]] David Oliver Kling, [[RMN]], who shall hold temporary command for the duration of the voyage to Blackbird Station for processing and inspection.<br />
<br />
Upon completing inspection and decommissioning, {{gns|Covington|CLAC-01|hcn}} is to be permanently removed from Active Reserves. Her Name, Colors, and Registry shall be placed in the charge of the Office of the High Admiral, on behalf of the Protector.<br />
