It holds the equivalent military paygrade of [[E-2]] within {{trmn}} and is the first promotion that a spacer can receive. A spacer is never referred to by their rank, but rather their rate. So a [[Power Technician]] who earned their second stripe would not be called "Spacer 2nd Class," but rather "Power Tech 2nd Class."
