This can only be awarded to current members. This award replaces the Manticoran Reserve Service Medal on the uniform.<ref name="aman2014">TRMN Bureau of Personnel Awards Manual 2014 Edition</ref>
For Manticoran military personnel, this award is issued only to commissioned and warrant officers. The long service award for enlisted personnel is the Good Conduct Medal.
