BuShips Directive 2001-10 was issued on 9 January 2020 under the authority of the Third Space Lord. This directive establishes HMS Gryphon as the flagship of RADM Strayer in command of Second Fleet.

Sir Geoffrey:
As of 9 January 2020, HMS Gryphon is hereby designated as the flagship of your command, the Second Fleet. Gryphon is further directed to fly your pennant upon her hull, which should be embellished with three red stripes as befits the level of your command within the Royal Manticoran Navy.
Any previous directives or orders regarding Gryphon's status as flagship is hereby overridden and/or rescinded.
