Spacer Second Class (abbrev: S2C) is an enlisted paygrade within the Royal Manticoran Navy, the Grayson Space Navy, and the Republic of Haven Navy. It holds the equivalent military paygrade of E-2 within The Royal Manticoran Navy: The Official Honor Harrington Fan Association, Inc. and is the first promotion that a spacer can receive. A spacer is never referred to by their rank, but rather their rate. So a Power Technician who earned their second stripe would not be called "Spacer 2nd Class," but rather "Power Tech 2nd Class."
