Many pages in the Wiki use older Templates that no longer fully serve our needs, but would create problems if the Template was simply deleted. These templates are being retained to support those pages until they can be edited to use a newer Template or are otherwise dealt with. Once a Deprecated Template is no longer in use, it may be safely deleted.
These Templates should not be added to any new pages.
