To:	All Officers and Enlisted in the Royal Manticoran Marine Corps
From:	Marshal Sean Niemeyer, Marshal of the Corps
Re:	Changing of Unit Echelon Sizes (Corps Directive 03-1406)

The Royal Marine Corps does not wish to stifle the ability of our MARDETs to role play their way through the Honorverse, but we must do so in such a manner that ensures the stability of the unit, the RMMC, and tRMN as a whole. Therefore as of the date of this Order, by my hand, and by the authority of the Sovereign, Queen of Manticore Elizabeth III, and in accordance with Admiralty Order 1204-04 I hereby establish the following policy with regards to MARDETs changing echelon sizes.

Any MARDET wishing to upgrade echelon size must wait a minimum of three months before changing echelon sizes.

The above effective 28-JUNE-14.
