Naval Directive 12AP-01 was issued 15 April 2012 under the authority of the First Space Lord. It appoints the Senior Master Chief Petty Officer of the Navy.

As of the date of this Order, by my hand, and by the authority of the Sovereign, Queen of Manticore Elizabeth III, I hereby appoint Chief Petty Officer William J. Lochen to the position of Senior Master Chief Petty Officer of the Royal Manticoran Navy with appropriate promotion therein. In this position he will serve as THE Ombudsman for Manticoran Naval Enlisted personal, and as the Mentor and Guide for all Ship's Bosun's in particular and the Fleet's Chief's Mess is General, this order made under my hand will be effective 0001 hours 15-APR-2012.
