LTSG Erikson:
You are hereby directed and required to proceed aboard HMS Javelin (DD-264), there to take upon yourself the duties and responsibilities of Commanding Officer, relieving CDR Ann Erikson, GCE, MC, OR, QBM, RMN, in service to the Queen. Fail not in this charge at your peril.
The following personnel are assigned to your command, HMS Javelin (DD-264) in the defined capacities:
- CPO Joshua Dadd, RMN (RMN-5115-18), is assigned as Executive Officer. CPO Dadd is hereby breveted to the rank of LIEUTENANT (SENIOR GRADE), RMN.
- FCM1<ref>Fire Control Mate 1st Class. See Abbreviations of RMN Ratings</ref> Jim Erikson, RMN (RMN-4093-16), is assigned as Bosun, relieving CPO Joshua Dadd. FCM1 Erikson is hereby breveted to the rank of CHIEF PETTY OFFICER, RMN.
Based upon the requirements of the service for your new billet, you are hereby brevetted to the rank of LIEUTENANT COMMANDER, RMN.
The above directive is effective on this date, 25 November 2018.
