You are hereby directed and required to proceed aboard {{#if:hcn

}}}}, there to take upon yourself the duties and responsibilities of Commanding Officer, relieving Commander Lisa Wiedemann, QCB, GCE, KR, SC, DGC, OG, First Baron Foxglove, in service to the Crown. Fail not in this charge at your peril.
The following personnel have been assigned to your command, are hereby directed and required to proceed aboard {{#if:hcn
|HMS Vixen (DD-174) |{{#if:DD-174 |HMS Vixen |HMS Vixen
}}}}, there to take upon themselves the duties and responsibilities below:
- Captain Junior Grade Joseph Kaplan, RMN (RMN-154-11), is assigned as Executive Officer.
- Petty Officer Third Class, Elisabeth J Grutzmacher, RMN (RMN-6798-22), is assigned as Bosun, relieving Fleet Senior Master Chief Petty Officer Buzz Ryan, KE, RMN, in service to the Crown.
Based upon the requirements of the service the following brevets are approved:
- Elisabeth J Grutzmacher to E-7 Chief Petty Officer, RMN.
The Bureau of Ships wishes to express appreciation and thanks to CDR Foxglove for their service as CO of HMS Vixen, and wish them all success in their future endeavors.
The Bureau of Ships wishes to express appreciation and thanks to FSMCPO Ryan for his service as Bosun of HMS Vixen, and wish him all success in his future endeavors.
The above directive is effective on this date, 13 January 2024.
