BuShips Directive 1809-02 was issued 10 September 2018 under the authority of the Third Space Lord. This directive appoints command staff for HMS Javelin.

Dame Dora:
The following personnel are assigned to your command, HMS Javelin (DD-264) in the defined capacities:
- YN2 Joshua Dadd, RMN (RMN-5115-18), is assigned as Bosun, relieving CPO Ziggi Thompson. YN2 Dadd is hereby breveted to the rank of CHIEF PETTY OFFICER, RMN.
The above directive is effective on this date, 10 September 2018.
The Bureau of Ships wishes to express appreciation and thanks to Chief Petty Officer Thompson for serving as Bosun of Javelin.
